1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Deuce mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These terms may be updated periodically; continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Nature of Service

The App is developed and managed by Gabriele Righi, Via del bacino 51, 41049 Sassuolo (MO), Italy. Deuce is a platform for organizing amateur tennis and padel competitions, matches, and rankings, in both singles and doubles formats. The App acts solely as an intermediary and organizational tool; it does not provide physical facilities, coaching services, or guarantee any specific outcomes.

3. Physical Activity & Health Disclaimer

Tennis and padel are physically demanding sports. By participating in matches and tournaments organized through the App, you acknowledge that you are physically fit to do so and that you participate at your own risk. Deuce accepts no liability for injuries, accidents, or health issues arising from physical activity conducted through the platform. We strongly recommend consulting a medical professional before engaging in intensive physical activity.

4. User Conduct & Fair Play

Users are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times. Any form of harassment, abuse, discrimination, or threatening behavior toward other users will result in immediate and permanent account suspension without warning or refund. Fraudulent score entry, match manipulation, or any form of cheating will result in account closure and disqualification from any ongoing or future competitions.

5. Match Logistics

Deuce facilitates the organization of matches and tournaments but does not manage physical venues. Users are solely responsible for reserving tennis or padel courts, confirming match times with opponents, and ensuring they have access to appropriate facilities. Deuce accepts no liability for failed bookings, cancellations, or disputes arising from court reservations.

6. Beta Version & Service Availability

The current version of Deuce is a beta release provided "as-is." Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without prior notice. The App may experience downtime, bugs, or data inconsistencies. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Your use of the beta version is at your own risk.

7. Payments & Third Parties

During the beta phase, all features are provided free of charge. The Wallet feature displayed in the App is currently demonstrative and does not involve real monetary transactions. Future payment processing, when introduced, will be handled through Stripe or another third-party payment provider. By using such features, you will also be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment processor.

8. Refund Policy & Wallet

Once a tournament or competition has started, entry fees (when applicable) are non-refundable. For cancellations made before a competition begins, refunds will be issued exclusively as wallet credit within the App and will not be returned to the original payment method. Wallet credits are non-transferable and have no cash value outside the App.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Italian law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Modena, Italy.
